CCTC Early Childhood Education FCCLA Members Earn Regional Medals, Advance to State

FCCLA, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, is a student organization that helps members build leadership and career skills through Family and Consumer Sciences education.

We are proud of our Early Childhood Education FCCLA members who competed at the Regional Competition hosted at Licking Valley High School in Newark. Their preparation and professionalism were evident at every event, and they represented CCTC and our ECE program well.

Regional Results

• Gold, individual event: Mackenzie Burns
• Silver, partnered event: Khyla Taylor and Cayla Williams
• Silver, individual event: Autumn Calderon

State Qualifiers

• Senior: Mackenzie Burns, Early Childhood Education event
• Junior: Autumn Calderon, Language and Literacy event

Mackenzie and Autumn will compete April 16–17 at the Ohio FCCLA State Leadership Conference at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus.
