Networking

In the IT Networking class, we do a lot of hands-on work with computers. We learn how to disassemble and reassemble them and how to work with the software within the computer. In your junior year, you learn the basics and acquire knowledge within the IT field. In your senior year, you will conduct intern-based work during fourth block (Tech. Team). In Tech Team you go around the school completing work orders and fixing computers within the school. If you're into computers and how they operate, then this is the right class for you.

The difference between hardware and software:

Hardware:

Working with hardware means working with parts of the computers like the tower, keyboard, mouse, printer and more.

Software:

Working inside the computer means dealing with blue screen, fixing viruses or installing new programs.

These differences will be learned in the first year. You will learn how hardware and software work and how they will not work without each other. It may sound hard, but it is not hard. The fun kicks in when you learn how to make your own websites. It's a lot of fun.

When your senior year comes, you get jobs to complete like making your own server, keeping the server running or working in Tech. Ops. which lets you fix students', teachers' or your own computers. There are many jobs in IT Networking.

This is what we do in IT Networking; we hope you come and join us .
