Program Overview
The Heating and Air Conditioning program teaches the skills required to install, repair, and maintain light commercial and residential heating and cooling systems, and obtain ESCO HVAC excellence certifications. This course covers classroom and laboratory experiences including, but not limited to, Applied Communications, Applied Math, Employability Skills.
Length of Course:
The Heating and Air Conditioning Program is a one year program consisting of 900 clock-hours with an optional 2nd year consisting of 900 clock-hours. Classes meet Monday-Thursday from 4 p.m. till 10:00 p.m.

Graduates are employed in various industries throughout the Tri-State Area.
Placement Services:
WorkForce Development Resource Center provides placement services to graduates of all full-time programs. A representative from WDRC is available to speak with each class before graduation to assist students with the registration process for job placement. WorkForce Development Resource Center is located at 120 North 3rd Street, Ironton, Ohio
